4th of July

Best Fourth of July EVER.

I don't know why, but this 4th of July was especially wonderful. It probably has to do with the fact that it was Sydney's first. - she makes everything better.

We started the day out in the Wolfeboro town parade on the Goodhue float. The Foulgers were nice enough the join us and help pass out candy and sing to the crowds- always a blast.

We played on the water for a good part of the day and headed over to the Foulger's for a delicious 4th of July dinner (and an impromptu talent show). We finished the day off watching a specatular fireworks show on the boat in wolfeboro bay. I love the 4th of July in New Hampshire so much.

Thomas and Sydney.

mr. and mrs. jonathan pratt

I am convinced that there isn't another couple who are happier to be married than these two. I had the most magical weekend celebrating this marriage. I love Jonathan and Shannon so much and I am so happy that they are married! Not to mention that their wedding was SO much fun and absolutely beautiful and magical and I was so happy to be a part of it. Congrats to two of my very favorite people!

Please excuse the overload and disorganization of pictures that follow. It's just going to happen like this.

overly in love with this girl.

I am sorry, but that is the cutest "just married"-ish sign I have ever seen. And it was JONATHAN's idea! "just tied the knot" is written out in rope and secured to the back of the boat that they left in. so cute.

The band was AMAZING. We had so much fun dancing!

My dad is a MANIAC on the dance floor.

Gorgeous (and delicious) wedding cake.

The Rosell girls

The send off was the most magical experience I have ever had (and it wasn't even for me). Unfortunately, I did not get a good picture, which kills me. As the ran down the stairs to the dock, they ran through a tunnel of sparklers. AND THEN, as the were getting in the boat, there were about 50 floating lanterns that were let off into the air (like in tangled. I did not know that floating lanterns actually exisited, but apparently they do, and they were amazing.) AND THEN, as the road off, the most amazing fire work show lit the night sky and shined down on the beautiful couple taking off in a boat.  All the while, the band was out on the deck playing "don't stop believing" by journey. MAGICAL. ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL.

The happy groom.

So the white wooden beams in the middle of this room are supports to hold the ceiling up from caving in a crashing down. When we get 100+ people dancing like crazy in the family room (which is above this room), the floor becomes like a huge trampoline and it feels like the floor is just going to completely give out. It is pretty freaky. So these beams are a serious safety precaution.

We couldn't be happier to have Shannon as a sister!
